We would like to appreciate your special support for business activities of Sumico Lubricant Co., Ltd. In 1957, we started the manufacturer that exclusively produces the lubricants which mainly contained molybdenum disulfide(MoS₂) for the purpose of effective application high-purity molybdenite, which Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. had mined from Hirase Mine in Gifu prefecture, Subsequently, we have been promoting an increase in technical strength through the technology transfer from the foreign company upgrading / expanding sales the sales network and increasing production capacity. We have also worked to expand business content with the development and release of new products in response to customers' diversified needs, related changes in surroundings of us, such as the orientation toward energy savings etc. Today, we strive to provide the solutions as the general manufacturer of lubricants, with the range of about 530 types.

We thoroughly and ceaselessly pursue quality, and we pride ourselves on manufacturing products that satisfy customers under the development policy that "we provide customers with only good products. We forward to the world only products that deliver good results." We have great confidence in our high technical strength based on lubrication engineering(or tribology), and proposing the solutions about problems in various equipment / machine use environments.
