Research and Development
In order to utilize molybdenite as solid lubricant, we have started research and development activities on technologies to manufacture fine powder of MoS2 from molybdenite, and now the activities are progressed to the technologies to disperse the fine powder to lubricating oils. As technologies progress higher, it is necessary develop our original technologies, without adhering existing ones, as well as transfer the established technologies outside.
Our research and development(R & D) Center has groups correspond to appearance of our products and another group for research and analysis. Its aim is to enable the quickest possible response to customers’ diversified needs. Our products are commercialized through repeated trials and errors, because they are assumed to be applied under severe conditions. They are the lubricating oils applied under 200 deg. C. or higher temperature, lubricating greases expose to extreme pressure and/or water and dry film lubricant required lifetime lubrication, for example. Furthermore, It is naturally our responsibility that the elimination of controlled substances which lead to environmental pollution, global warming and deterioration of work environment. Therefore, we conduct the development/improvement of products which is aimed to improve their performances, with recognition of the “environment and safety” as the important issue and with consideration of the elimination of controlled substances.
